Just got back from christmas eve small family gathering dinner. It was massive. I know it sounds ironic with the small I mentioned before. Massive as in full with children world. Its been a great year for me. With lots of ups and downs. At the age of nineteen, its no longer oh-sweet-sixteen crazy christmas celebration for me. 2 days later, I am jumping back to mlk. Maybe you wont see me blogging so much here. Or maybe, I might stuck myself in uncle john and get myself connected to the internet world.
I remember the starting of the year was the very miserable time for me. A random kid who just done with her another high school chapter. Running through the messy brochure of colleges, and long list of companies that I wanna apply to get a part time job. I find it very funny and cute by reading by my older post. How did I count down for Chinese New Year, how I make fun of those calls I've got during my working period with Astro Telemarketing Department. It was a fulfill January.
And when it comes to February, I started to get into my work. My very first proper office timing working in a proper office. Getting to know people in there, eating lunch with working people. I was experiencing an office lifestyle. And had my very first proper valentines' lunch with indian. =) It was a sweet February.
March is always another month which I love to have. Indian's birthday. And last March, I had a huge bouquet of roses. It was actually my very first time receiving flowers infront of hundreds of people and it was huge. Besides that, I also went for a few trips. Went to Penang for chengming and Port Dickson. I had so much fun with my highschool girls. And the steamboat was good. It was a fun March.
April was when I went for Bali. It was the best shopping trip ever. I got so much from Roxy and Quicksilver in Bali. And also those flowerish dress and cheap massage. Bali I am coming back soon! It was a balinese April.
It was a dull May.
June is where I was preparing myself for the uni result. Ah well, it wasnt too good. Knowing you are be away for the next 4 years, not constantly home or in the town where you grow up. It was a tough time. Going through the sadness, and those big farewell for who who who. So much to miss, so little time. It was a rewind for all the highschool moments. And It was a really groceries time for June.
Stepping into Uni, meeting new bunch of people from different states. Theres so much difference, so much to know, so much to figure out. Adapting is the biggest lesson of the month. And till now I am still adapting, I hasnt gone to the level which I feel comfortable with everything I have in Melaka. Except my car. It was an adapting month for July.
It was a tough month. Knowing the lists of subjects, tests, and quizzes. And it was the month which I started to find the long weekends, the ways to come back to KL. Haha, I do sound like a desperado here. It was one of the peak month of my year. Where most of the downs are really the downs which make me grow up and see what I have not been seeing for a very long time. And knowing new types of human that I have been avoiding since I was a child. It was toughy August.
With the continuous blues from August, I decided for a getaway. And we went Penang again this time. =) It was the blast of the year, a very short and quick relax trip. But we sort of rushed everything together. And realizing, my home is where I belong to. It was a relaxing September.
Do you celebrate Hari Raya? Do you celebrate Deepavali? Yes I do. This is the month where I hide my Chinese Heritage and put on others cultural costume. I love One Malaysia. I had fun with open house in my housemate's and coursemate's, and also transforming into indian's proper half traditional girlfriend was the mission of the month too. =) It was a festive September.
November was all about exam and exam and exam. I cant wait for the holiday and knowing the holiday is ending now is sad for me. Sigh. It was the stress moment in November. So much to read, and pouring out every single little thing that I gotta memorize. And I hope I prepare earlier for the next semester. Can anyone remind me to do so? Please. *puppy eyes* Stressful November.
Deng deng deng deng! It is my month now! Christmas, Birthday, Anniversary. Everything comes into a package. I cant describe this month. Too much. Hmm. I call it big December. =P
Have a goodnight people.
